You can tour Arkansas ‘ oldest toured cave only 6 miles from Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Onyx Cave was founded in 1891 and tours began in 1893. Enjoy an incredible 57-degree self-guided cave tour with a headset to guide you along the path. Guests can spend as long as they want in the cave and explore at their own pace.
Our Cave is home to a variety of unique wildlife including bats, salamanders, blind cave fish and 2 cats. (Onyx & Flo)
The cave is open rain or shine 7 days a week from March 1 – November 26. We are closed Thanksgiving Day but do open after Thanksgiving look for updates on the days and hours as they will vary.
